YANG Kai, currently teaching at the Composition and Conducting Department of Tianjin Conservatory of Music, is the head of the Electronic Music major and an associate professor. During his tenure, he has created a large number of music works that express traditional Chinese culture and has won numerous awards. He has also been invited to participate in domestic and international music festivals. His symphonic suite "Xiangyin" has been included in the national intangible cultural heritage "Taigu Yangge"; The symphony "Jin Yun" won the third prize at the Tianjin division of the Golden Bell Awards; The electronic music work 'Spirit Dance Over the Ripples' won the third prize in the first Danny Prize International Electronic Music Competition; The piano suite "24 Solar Terms" has been published and distributed, and has been performed multiple times both domestically and internationally. During the tenure, I have published multiple academic papers and led and participated in multiple research projects.
