He often graces the stage as a guest performer with the Shanghai Percussion Ensemble and leads as the founder and artistic director of the NingjuPercussion Ensemble. His talent has earned him international contracts with industry leaders such as Blackswamp, Freer Percussion, Grover Pro Percussion, Innovative Percussion, Majestic, and Mike Balter.
Xu Wenjia remains a vibrant figure in the music scene, immersing himself in teaching as well as solo performances, chamber music, and contemporary compositions at various music festivals year-round. He is also a key member of the Hanover Percussion Ensemble in Germany, where he showcases a vast and compelling performance repertoire. His artistic prowess has been celebrated by prominent German media, earning him the accolade of "the most shining new generation percussionist".
