Young Dizi(Chinese Horizontal Bamboo Flute) and Xiao (Chinese Vertical Bamboo Flute)Performer, Full-time Faculty Member of the Chinese Music Department at Zhejiang Conservatory of Music , Master of Dizi Performance from Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Member of the Shanghai Musicians Association, Standing Director of the Dizi Professional Committee, Deputy Artistic Director of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music Chinese Dizi Ensemble and Yuping Xiao-Di Ensemble, Vice Chairman of the "Dizi Art" Intangible Cultural Heritage China Higher Music Education Development Alliance. Studied under the renowned dizi performer, educator, and doctoral supervisor Professor Tang Junqiao, and also received guidance from teachers Zhuang Zhiwei, Yu Xunfa, and Jiang Guoji.

 

Awards include: Gold Prize in the Professional Youth Group A of the "Second National Dizi Invitational Competition" (2012); Gold Prize in the Professional Middle-Aged and Youth Group of the "Hong Kong International Dizi Invitational Competition" (2013); Silver Prize in the Folk Music Ensemble Category of the 9th China Golden Bell Awards (2013); Silver Prize in the Dizi Solo Youth Group of the 5th National Youth Traditional Instrument Performance Competition (Ministry of Culture "Wenhua Award") (2014), among other major awards. Also received various honors such as provincial and national scholarships.

 

In 2017, led the Shanghai Conservatory of Music Chinese Dizi Ensemble to participate in the Ministry of Culture's "Wenhua Award" 6th National Youth Traditional Instrument Education and Teaching Achievements Exhibition (Small Traditional Instrument Ensemble Category). In 2018, led the ensemble to be selected for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's "First National Excellent Traditional Orchestra Exhibition," earning the honor of "Top Ten National Excellent Traditional Orchestras."

 

Invited to perform at important events such as the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in Australia, the Royal Academy of Music in the UK, the "Happy Spring Festival" series, and the G20 Summit. In 2018, played the lead role of Ling Lun in the large-scale traditional instrument theater production "The Heavenly Melody of Dizi," a National Art Fund project by Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
