YE Qing, a young composer, is currently a doctoral student (Class of 2023) in Music Technology at Nanjing University of the Arts, under the supervision of Professor Wang Xuan. She holds a Level-3 composer certification and is a member of the Electronic Music Society of the Chinese Musicians’ Association. Ye has received multiple awards from both domestic and international competitions, including the Hangzhou International Electronic Music Festival, the Sibelius International Composition Competition (Finland), and the Vivaldi International Music Competition.In 2018, she founded her own audiovisual studio, through which she has led the creation of numerous multimedia projects. Representative works include the children's intangible cultural heritage dance drama Rolling Lantern, commercial music for OPPO, the Chinese-style girl band single Taiji, the short film Stone, and the animation Birds Return After Feasting.Since 2019, she has been teaching music technology courses at Nanjing University of the Arts, specializing in computer-assisted composition and sound design. Her teaching and creative practices have led many of her students to achieve notable success.
