Zhang  Ling, a full-time lecturer specializing in pipa at Zhejiang Vocational Academy of Art, serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Zhejiang Musicians Association's Pipa Committee and is a permanent council member of the Zhejiang Ethnic Orchestra Association's Pipa Professional Committee. She graduated with a bachelor's and master's degree in pipa performance from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where she studied under the renowned pipa performer and educator, Professor Li Jingxia.

Zhang Ling has been invited to participate in numerous major cultural and artistic events such as the "Shanghai World Expo Summit," "Shanghai Spring International Music Festival," "Taiwan-Zhejiang Cultural Festival," "Shanghai International Contemporary Music Week," and "Eastern Charm Series Concerts." She has received awards including the first prize in 2015 Youth Perfirmance Competition of Zhejiang, the gold prize in the first "Yinzhong Cup" Traditional Pipa Repertoire Competition (Professional Division), and the silver prize in the third Cross-Strait Pipa Competition for Professionals. She has also held solo concerts and been highly praised at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music Concert Hall and Zhejiang Concert Hall.

Zhang Ling has guided her students to achieve the first prize in 2018 National Vocational College Skills Competition, the gold prize in 2023 Shanghai International Music Festival, and the silver prize in 4th “Dunhuang Cup” the Chinese Pipa Artistic Elite Show. Zhang Ling has been recognized as an "Outstanding Instructor" by significant events including the National Vocational Skills Competition. Additionally, she has undertaken and participated in numerous research projects at the provincial, ministerial, departmental, and institutional levels.
