Hasnizam Abdul Wahid Hasnizam Abdul Wahid, His main interest is in music technology, particularly electronic, computer music and electroacoustic music. He has been a first-prize winner in the residency category in the Bourges 2001 Electroacoustic Music Competition, was awarded a Mention during the L’espace du Son 2002 Competition in Brussels, and received a Pre-Selection of Jury for his work Ra'hah in the Electroacoustic Sonic Art Works category in Bourges 2003 and a Pre- Selection of Jury in Bourges 2005 for his piece Interplay and awarded 3rd Prize Winner for his piece ‘Mikro II’ in Musicacoustica – Beijing 2012 Electronic Music Composition Competition. His recent works include "Sape and Sampo", a live electronics performance in Auch, France (26-30 July 2023). His brief residency and masterclass program on Sampo instruments includes, mixed music techniques, real-time processing, live electronics, augmented instruments and improvisation with supervision of Jean-Christophe Revel (organist, improviser , and composer, Regional Conservatory of Paris, France) and Alexander Mihalic (composer, Musinfo, France). He attended Aqtushetii Residency Programme the Caucasus All Frequency Music Residency, August 2024, organised and led by Ben Wheeler and Giorgi Koberidze in Omalo, Caucasus mountain range, Georgia. Exploring folk music with music technology. SensARTS Sensibilization of youth ARts, science and digital TechnologieS a collaborative project between the artist, technologist and scientist from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) with comissioned project by Ambassade De France En Malaise, Alliance Francaise Kuala Lumpur. He is also the member of SPECTRE Collective, a group of composer/performer exploring sound domain composition. He received "Special Mention" in Music/Sound Design category during the Art Beats Festival, 14-20 August 2023, organised by Lancaster University and Sunway University.
