Fendi Mazalan
Malaysia

Fendi Mazalan is an experimental composer and installation artist from Teluk Intan, Perak, Malaysia. His creative practice centers on the emotional and spatial dimensions of sound, often blurring the lines between composition, technology, and interactivity. Working with hardware synths, generative electronics, and handmade sound circuits, Fendi’s music invites listeners into immersive sonic worlds shaped by texture, gesture, and memory. His recent works explore acousmatic composition as a way to reveal the unseen—to let sound speak through absence, presence, and resonance. Fendi’s evolving body of work includes interactive installations, ambient noise performances, and solo exhibitions where he investigates the poetics of listening across both physical and imagined space.
