WANG Xinyu is Associate Professor, master’s supervisor from Music Engineering Department at Zhejiang Conservatory of Music. He earned a Master of Arts in Electronic Music Composition and a PhD in Electronic Music Theory from Central Conservatory of Music, under the supervision of Professor Jin Ping and Professor Zhang Xiaofu, respectively. His computer music and electroacoustic compositions have been presented at renowned music festivals/conferences internationally, including Musicacoustica-Beijing, ICMC, ICEM Concert, Beijing Modern Music Festival, Shanghai International Electronic Music Week, Audio Art Festival Europe and etc. Wang won First Prize in the Recording Competition and First Prize in the Best Paper Award at Musicacoustica-Beijing Festival. Wang has also played a principal role in various national and provincial-ministerial research projects concerning music and technology. The application outcomes of these projects were showcased at prestigious events like the Global Digital Trade Expo and the World Young Scientists Summit.
