Liu Fang is a graduate student of Grade 23 of Zhejiang Conservatory of Music under the supervision of Professor Xue Biao.He began to learn the violin at the age of eight,and studied with Professor Wang Junhua, Wang Hong, Jin Hui, Wu Xiaoming, Xie Nan, Yang Gefang and Xue Biao successively.In September 2014, he was admitted to the Music School Attached to Xinghai Conservatory of Music and studied with Professor Wu Xiaoming.In September 2017, he was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music and studied with Professor Yang Gefang.In the first semester of college, he participated in the excellent student report concert recommended by his teacher and played the first movement of Mozart's Violin Concerto in D major.In January 2020, he won a special Gold Medal at the Singapore International Chamber Music Competition and performed the first movement of Bartok's String Quartet No. 4 at the winning concert to great acclaim.In the same year, he won the Gold Medal for Ensemble at the 5th Hummingbird Music Awards competition. He played Beethoven's Piano and Violin Sonata No. 6 in the Mofan Book Company and was well received by the audience. In 2023, he was admitted to the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music with excellent results and studied for graduate school under Professor Xue Biao.
