HE Xingyu graduated from Communication University of China in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Composition and Composition Technology Theory (Electronic Music Field). He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Media Music with a research direction in electronic music composition, under the guidance of Professor Wang Xuan. He’s works have won many awards in professional composition competitions, such as MUSICACOUSTICA-BEIJING, Shanghai Conservatory of Music International Digital Music Festival, and National College Students Computer Design Competition.
The electronic music work "Du" won the first prize of the 13th National College Students Computer Design Competition (Computer Music Professional Group) in 2020, a competition of the Ministry of Education of China. The electronic music work "Rain Dance" won the third prize of Group D in the MUSICACOUSTICA-BEIJING (2019). The electronic music work "Ji" won the Excellent Prize of Group D in the MUSICACOUSTICA-BEIJING (2018). The electronic music work "Shimmer" was selected for the 2021 "Earth Day" Global Marathon Offsite Real Time Concert - "Touch the Future" Chinese Composers Special Concert. The work “Moment" won the Excellence Award of the Game Music Group in the 2nd international digital music festival of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and premiered at the Shanghai Opera House in March 2023.
He has been involved in a large number of music compositions, and his personal works involve film and television drama soundtracks, animation game soundtracks, dance theatre compositions, and songwriting.
