DONG Jingyi is a postgraduate from the Traditional Chinese Music Department at the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, where she specialized in the guzheng. She is a member of the Communist Party of China and a recipient of the prestigious "National Scholarship." Jingyi was also handpicked for the "Top Talent Training Program" at the Shu Academy within the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music and is a key player in the "Jade Guzheng Ensemble." Her esteemed mentors include Professors Zhou Zhan and Sheng Yang .

Jingyi's accolades include being a finalist in the 13th China Music Golden Bell Award and securing third place in the non-traditional ensemble category at the Chinese Instrumental Television Competition presented by the Central Radio and Television Station in 2019. Furthermore, she has showcased her talents in numerous significant Zhejiang provincial competitions such as the 2nd Zhejiang Young Guzheng Performers Contest, the "13th China Music Golden Bell Guzheng Competition" Zhejiang selection round, and the 11th Zhejiang Music and Dance Festival. Her exceptional skills earned her the title of one of the "Top Ten Young Guzheng Performers of Zhejiang Province."

In 2020, she partnered with the emerging composer, Li Yuejin, to commission and debut the guzheng concerto "Dan Chen Fu." In both 2021 and 2023, she graced the stage with solo concerts in partnership with the Zhejiang Traditional Orchestra. In 2022, she collaborated with the Hebei Traditional Orchestra for the premiere of the guzheng concerto "Bilian." This piece was later recognized and selected for the "National Arts Fund 2023 Creation Support Project."

As a pivotal member of the Jade Guzheng Ensemble, Jingyi has delivered performances across numerous cities, captivating audiences at venues like the Hangzhou Grand Theatre and the Jiangsu Grand Theatre. Her collaborations extend to orchestras like the Zhejiang Traditional Orchestra. Additionally, Jingyi has been invited to lend her musical prowess to television recordings for programs such as "Elegant Traditional Chinese Music" on Central Television and "Sound of Dreams" on Zhejiang Satellite TV.
