ZHAO Wan, based in Nanning, Guangxi, is a music producer and developer of music software and hardware. He currently serves as Deputy Director of the Recording Arts Department at Guangxi Arts University, where he teaches electronic music production and music technology. Wan is an Ableton Certified Trainer (also China Regional Technical Support) and a Cycling ’74 Max Certified Trainer; he previously worked as Native Instruments’ China technical support and taught electronic instrument production at Xinghai Conservatory of Music. He is a producer at Bluefin Studio, served as tour and stage manager for Zebbler Encanti Experience, and contributed to the development of Sonic Geometry hardware and its operating system. Wan holds a Master’s degree in Music Production & Music Technology from Berklee College of Music and a Bachelor’s degree in Recording Engineering. He participated in the development of the OTO music controller; related projects were showcased at  SONAR and SXSW. Wan has long worked at the intersection of music production, education, and technology R&D, and is committed to integrating music technology with teaching and live show.
