The Click Percussion Ensemble of Zhejiang Conservatory of Music was founded under the leadership of Hong Jie, a teacher from the Department of Pop Music, with Wang Tao, Deputy Director of the Department, serving as its director. Guided by the core philosophy of "Cross-border Integration · Innovative Expression", the ensemble devotes itself to exploring the diverse integration of percussion music—combining tradition with modernity, and Eastern and Western styles. Its works cover Chinese, foreign and world ethnic percussion music, presenting a rich variety of styles. These include audio-visual synesthetic interactive performances such as Ding Feng Bo (Calming the Waves) and Sand Box, as well as academic works like Yun Zhi Nan (South of the Clouds), Greatness and Glory and Crazy Fox.
The ensemble has participated in dozens of events including the CCTV New Year's Eve Gala, held special performances, released two albums, and won numerous domestic and international awards. Its members also frequently take part in social performances such as artist tours, music festivals and variety show recordings.
