Marcelo Espìndola Sandoval, Percussionist and Master in Arts from the Catholic University of Chile.  As a percussionist he has participated in various musical groups, ranging from classical orchestra, contemporary music and popular music. Since 1996 until today, he is a member of the soul music band, Matahari. He was a member of the Percussion Group of the Catholic University from 1991-2006. Where he participated as a performer, composer and producer. Since 2004, he participates in the electroacoustic community of Chile, CECH. He has composed music for various groups of popular and classical music, plays and films. His music is performed both in Chile and abroad. At present his teaching work is developed at the Institute of Music of the Catholic University of Chile, at the Metropolitan University of Education Sciences, UMCE and at the Projazz Professional Institute.
