Chinese flutist Ziqin Chen is the winner of Leopold de Rothschild Music Scholarship, and also the winner of many music competition, such as Severino Gazzelloni Flute Competition、London Grand Prize Virtuoso,New York Classical Music Competition and so on. She completed her master’s degree from the Royal College of Music in 2023. Currently join in the Chamber Orchestra of Zhejiang Conservatory of Music. Ziqin started with piano at 6 and flute fellowed at 10 under prof. Jianping Chen. Then study under world-class flutist Susan Millan, Adam Walker, and Magaret Campbell. She also study the piccolo with Steward Mcllwham and baroque flute with Rachel Brown. Ziqin played in the Symphony orchestra and Philharmonic Orchestra of Royal College of Music. She performed frequently in the UK as a flute soloist since 2019, including St. Mary's Abbot, St Saviour Churh, Bleckheath Hall, Halsemere Hall, St Giles field Music Season and so on. She was invited to participate in the 1911 Revolution Memorial Concert held by the Chinese Embassy in the UK as a flute soloist.
