Zhu Xing is an Associate Professor in the Piano Department at Zhejiang Conservatory of Music and a Maste’s Supervisor. A young pianist who studied in Germany, he holds a Master’s degree from the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. Zhu was the first recipient of the Chinese Little Golden Bell Award for Music and is a member of the Chinese Musicians Association.
He completed his undergraduate studies at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where he studied under Professors Yang Yunlin and Yao Shizhen, as well as Lecturer Dai Gaode. In 2010, he pursued his Master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln under Professor Richard Braun, focusing on piano performance. Additionally, he received chamber music training from Professors Spiri Anthony and Beldi Christian. Due to his outstanding performance, he gained recognition from many internationally renowned pianists and received personal guidance from the likes of Chen Bixian, Andrea Bonatta (Chair of the Busoni International Piano Competition Jury), and Pierre-Laurent Aimard (renowned French pianist), earning unanimous praise.
Zhu’s rich performance experience spans both solo and chamber music recitals, with appearances at prominent venues such as the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, He Luting Concert Hall at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Guoyintang Hall at the China Conservatory of Music, Xinghai Concert Hall, Hangzhou Grand Theatre, and Ningbo Grand Theatre, where his performances have been met with critical acclaim.
