Andrew Lewis is a composer currently serving as Professor of Composition at Bangor University in the United Kingdom, where he also holds the position of Head of Department for Music, Theatre, and Performance. He has been honored with awards such as the 1986 EMAS/PRS Prize for "Storm-Song," the 1997 Concours de Musique Electroacoustique de Bourges for "Ascent," and the 2004 "Euphonie d’Or" award for the same composition, His music has been performed and recorded by prestigious ensembles and musicians worldwide, including the BBC National Drchestra of Wales, l'Orchestre national Montpellier Occitanie, and the Kreutzer Quartet. Additionally, he has released two collections of his works, "Miroirs obscurs" and "Au-dèla"
